Geiranger is one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway, and in winter it is almost empty. That is exactly why we love it.

Day one

Arrive by road from Ålesund and take a slow boat along the fjord. In the evening, sit in the hot tub as the light turns blue over the mountains.

In the fjords, silence is the luxury.

Day two

Walk to the waterfalls in the morning, then eat fresh fish by the harbour. If the sky is clear, stay up late for the northern lights.
